Frequently
Asked Questions
Is ADHD coaching the same as therapy?
Nope. Coaching is about practical tools, future goals, and daily life. Therapy focuses more on emotions, mental health, and the past. They’re different - but make a great team.
Do I need an ADHD diagnosis?
Not at all. Whether you’re diagnosed, self-identified, “neuro-spicy,” or just struggling with executive function, coaching can still help.
What do ADHD coaches actually do?
We help you figure out what matters, build structure, manage time, improve focus, and create habits that actually stick. Plus: accountability, encouragement, and zero judgement.
What happens in a session?
Think collaborative, not clinical. We talk through what’s hard, what you want to change, and come up with realistic strategies you can try straight away.
How long are sessions?
Usually 60 minutes - long enough to get into it, short enough to keep it brain-friendly.
How often do we meet?
Most people choose weekly or fortnightly sessions. We’ll find a rhythm that works for your life (and your brain).
How long until I see results?
It depends. Some notice shifts quickly, others build momentum over time. Consistency beats perfection every time.
Is coaching confidential?
Absolutely. We follow strict ethical and confidentiality guidelines.
Do you work with teens and young people?
Yes. We coach young people who are open to trying new strategies, typically ages 16 and up.
Is coaching different for young people and adults?
Yep. Young people often focus on transitions (school, work, “what am I doing with my life?”). Adults usually work on balance, burnout, and big-picture goals.
Online or in person?
Both! Most clients love the flexibility of online sessions.
How much does it cost?
Prices vary depending on sessions or packages. Get in touch and we’ll talk options - no pressure.
How do we get started?
Easy. Book a free discovery call to see if we’re a good fit. If it feels right, we’ll take it from there.
